Who I am.
Hi! I'm Sam. I have spent the vast majority of my life pursuing excellence in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am now looking to use my energy, optimism, leadership experience, and passion for climate technology and sustainability to make a difference in the world.
I care most about my family, friends, and faith. I also love playing basketball, spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, walking dogs, and playing ping pong. I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and then moved to California where I was an undergraduate and graduate student-athlete at Stanford University. During my time on the farm, I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Management Science and Engineering and was a 4-year member of the men's basketball team. My senior year, I was Co-Captain of the Men's Basketball Team and was named Men's Basketball Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year. |
Unless someone can look into the core of your heart and see the degree of your passions, or look into the depths of your soul and see the extent of your will, then they have no business telling you what you can or cannot achieve. Because they may know the odds, but they do not know you. |
